Summer School is offered as an enrichment program each summer for elementary and middle school students enrolled in LSR7.

K-5th Grade:
Opens: 12 p.m. on March 26
Closes: 3 p.m. on April 4

6th-8th Grade:
Opens: 12 p.m. on March 27
Closes: 3 p.m. on April 4

Summer School

K-5th Grade: May 28 - June 30

6th-8th Grade: May 28 - June 27

Summer School Dates

Elementary summer school will run Monday - Friday from May 28-June 30.
Secondary summer school will run Monday - Friday from May 28-June 27.
Summer school is closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

Students may enroll at any Summer School site, regardless of home school, if transportation is provided. To access shuttle service, please enroll at the site connected to your home school. More shuttle information will be shared with the course catalog.

How to Enroll

Enroll your child in PowerSchool at Kindergarten Kick-Off or at home

Create your parent portal through PowerSchool
During enrollment dates:
- Go to PowerSchool to the Parent Portal
- Click on SLI (Menu: left side)
- Enroll your child
- Enroll ALL of your children at the same time in PowerSchool - they must be in PowerSchool before you can enroll them in SLI!
- Enroll ALL of your children at the same SLI school.
- **Important** Make sure ALL your children are enrolled at the same SLI site and YMCA Day Camp site for SLI.
  - Example: If your three children are enrolled in the Y-Club at Richardson Elementary, enroll them at Richardson for Summer Learning.
