School

the front entrance of Cedar Creek Elementary

Cedar Creek Elementary opened its doors on August 27, 1997.

The school was built on 19 acres donated by Berbiglia’s South Side Investment. Cedar Creek is named after the Cedar Creek watershed, which is located near the school. The Cedar Creek Student Council helped to determine the cobalt blue and silver school colors and the Cyclone school mascot. To prepare for all-day Kindergarten, Cedar Creek was expanded by the addition of two classrooms on the west side of the building. Currently, Cedar Creek serves 520 students with 43 Certified Staff and 30 Non-certified Staff members. Cedar Creek is home to several programs to meet the diverse learning needs of students such as AIM/Aspire, Life Skills, Band and Strings as well as before/after school clubs of varying interests.
